LISTER ELIA... a son of a reverend/canon of an anglican church of
the diocese of
central Tanganyika(Tanzania). Educated musician who attended various colleges of music in Tanzania, vienna Austria studying classical piano and tokyo Japan where he spent a number of years at MATE MUSIC SCHOOL learning jazz piano. Apart from being a professional musician he is an author of two books, "PIANO" and "JIFUNZE GITAA" currently on sale in Tanzania and other swahili speaking countries. Now he is working on his third book; (a novel) "TAMKO" an imaginable story of a famous Tanzanian businessman murdered in a foreign country. His first album called indomitable genius is on sale and he will soon release his second album "HASIDI" and a DVD/video clip featuring some of his very best hits. He lives in japan and he works as a professional musician (pianist/keyboardist). His main bands are African express a band specializing in school concerts all over japan and "The Tanzanites" based in tokyo. .playing African modern music, reggae, jazz and various world music inorder to entertain folks in Japan and around the world as a whole.
